Christmas in Colorado

It was so fun having Carter this year for Christmas. Even though he doesn't have a clue yet, it just made it so much more fun for us. And thanks to Britt and Chris and the boys- he had darling Christmas PJ's and slippers.

I was so excited to give Jase his U of U quilt that I made for him. It was fun having a project to work on while he was gone. I might be more excited about this than he was- but I think he liked it.

And, you can't forget the Christmas toss up (or throwup as we call it). It's been tradition ever since I can remember- to throw all the paper in the air and take a picture after all the gifts are unwrapped. Silly, but one of our funnest traditions.

Well, what can I say?! It was so great to be home. It was fun to be where I grew up and do the usual Christmas traditions. Of course my mom had the place all decked out in Christmas garb, and we spent lots of time in the kitchen. That's definitely one of the best parts about Christmas- the food. Here Somneang is helping my Mom with dinner.
