With #2 on the way, we thought we may try to switch Carter into his own bed. Sound Crazy??! Yeah, we know. But- I must say I'm pretty proud of myself for scoring this free headboard and footboard that our old neighbors were getting rid of. With a little paint, a mattress we've had for a while, and some really cheap bedding we found at Home Goods I think it turned out pretty cute... and best of all, cheap.

I love the bedding. I have been searching for one similar to it...in fact they almost look identical but the listing price was over 100 bucks for it. If I can ask, how much did you find it for? It would go perfect with Ethan's rug he got for Christmas.
I love the red. Very cute. I don't think you're crazy for switching to a big boy bed now. McKay was about Carter's age and he did great. . .except that was the beginning of the end of his naps- beware!
