playing around

Well, we're in Utah right now and I decided I need a change on my blog. Maybe that will get me excited about blogging again. So bear with me until I find one I like. I promise I'll post some pictures soon.

Prego!

Well, I guess I better blog this for all the people who don't know yet. (all 3 of you!) The original plan was to wait until I was 12 weeks to tell- but I'm not very good at keeping my own secrets. So- I'm Pregnant! I don't know if it's real yet. I'm only about 9 weeks. Due in the middle of April.
I'm feeling good. Tired- but good. Lucky me, I don't get morning sickness! Other than that- it's life as usual around here.

It's finally nice enough to get outside a little more so Carter is constantly begging to go outside or "Aattsss..." as he says over and over as he's trying to pull the door open. What a cute little bug!

Nothin to Blog about

I don't know what my deal is. I am so unmotivated to blog. Everytime I think about it- I just don't know what to post. So sorry. I love looking at everyone else's blogs at the moment, but just haven't been inspired on anything new to post.

Ragged Mtn.

Yes, that is my Mom. Does she look like she's in control?!

Once again, My Mom getting ready to ride the Mountain Board (like a big skateboard.)

Here's a few pics from our latest trip to Colorado.
Did some hiking
Had a survivor "Challenge"
changed lots of diapers!
Had fun in the rain
Dirt biked through the mud
Dealt with diaper rash (not fun!)
Were the only ones NOT to participate in the family "talent" show.
the boys fished
Carter played with Rocks
Played dominoes, charades, and Catch Phrase (my favorite)
Ate WAY too much!
We had a blast! It was so fun to see the fam!

Blog Hopping

So- it's weird how sitting at a computer and blog hopping can make you feel reconnected again! We just got back from a trip- and for some reason the first few days home are hard for me. I just feel all out of it, and can't remember what I normally do all day every day. So today I took some time to blog hop! It's been a long time and I must say I enjoyed every minute of it!

I just have to say THANK YOU ADAM! They have a link to this blog http://www.seriouslysoblessed.blogspot.com and it is hilarious! For any of you who laugh at our "Mormon Culture" you might get a kick out of it. Anyway- it made me smile.

Carter's up now- so gotta go!

Happy Birthday Carter!!!

I can hardly believe my little boy is already 1!!! It goes so fast. He had a pretty good birthday- minus a little constapation and teething problems! Being One is a rough gig I guess. On the plus side- it was a great excuse for us to have some friends over for a barbeque.

He loved the balloons!... until he got all tangled up in them
And he especially loved the cake!... until we took it away! He was in chocolate heaven!
And here's my little man on Sunday- picking our flowers.
He was pretty serious opening presents- this is the most smiley picture I got.
And this is the birthday cake before it got demolished! I must say, I've got a little work to do before I can perfect a birthday cake like my mom. Making it brought back memories of my mom always making our favorite cake, and going all out for our Birthdays.

I love you Carter! I'm so excited to see what the next year has to bring!

I have time!!!

Wow- it's been a long time since I've updated our blog! I finally have time. Carter has been sleeping for almost 31/2 hours! Unheard of! I think he's a bit worn out from church yesterday!

I haven't posted pics yet of our camping trip, so here's a few! We had a blast! for the 4th weekend we headed up to Navajo Lake (near Cedar City) to take our first camping trip! Never mind that all of our friends dogged us!! We had a blast. I mean, if you call no sleep, no showers, and another scrape on Carter's nose a good time! It was sooo... beautiful! Jason had a great time fishing, Carter loved being outside and I actually got to do some reading. It's amazing how being away from it all- just makes you forget all the stress of everyday life. It was a much needed break - and we got to follow it up with a trip to Utah to see the fam. Unfortunately- I didn't take a single picture while I was up there! I guess we were just having too much fun.
