So- I yesterday as I was cleaning my house I realized I hadn't planted tomatoes yet! This is the first year the thought has even occured to me- now that we don't have a dog to plow everything over! And thanks to Lauren's gardening advice I felt a little better equipped to start a garden.
I got Carter ready and headed to home Depot. After and hour of indecision, and $70 later, I left with tomatoes, eggplants, basil, and some honeysuckle for our planter box. I thought I was buying the cheap stuff- but I guess all those 3dollar plants add up!
Carter played while I planted the Garden, and I'm taking pictures now, because I don't know if my plants will make it to the next round of pics! This is my first try at gardening- so hopefully we'll see some fruit.

I want to do a garden so bad but I'm scared because I know nothing!! I keep thinking this year but now I'm thinking next year. You're garden looks great. Carter looks like he's having so much fun. Hey, where did you get that ball for Carter? Is it a ball? With the ribbon on it? It's cute!

So so jealous that you can plant your tomatoes this early!! I just cleaned out my garden and am so excited to plant but that will be in at least a month and a half. Probably not for 2 months!! Your yard looks so nice! I would love to come visit!
