This post is for those of you who actually care about my daily life.(or have nothing better to do at the moment besides actually read this.) I tend to only post on Holidays or trips to Colorado or Utah. During a normal week I just don't think about it and when I do, I actually have blog guilt for not posting more. So, I'm not going to give you every second of my Day-but here are a few of my Love and Hates about daily life at the Sant Home.
Morning Ritual:
Love:
- Being able to share a bowl of cereal with him.
- That he can tell us what he wants "Milk, Movie, Cereal"
Hate
- Having to share anything I eat with him
- That he's very impatient while waiting for food- although it's getting better.
- Not being able to watch the News while we eat breakfast. He now demands one of his shows. (wiggles, or "Street" Sesame Street")
Grocery Store:
Love:
- When Carter picks up a Can of Peas and give it a big huge hug because he loves Peas so much. (He did that today and it was so cute)
- When he's a good boy and gives me smiles and makes faces at me while we're shopping.
- That he can actually recognize and say "bananas(nana), Soap (oap), Peas, Corn, Yogurt(go go),and Cereal."
Hate:
- When he throws the can of Peas that he just gave hugs to. That's a real fun game!
- Checking out: There's an end cap filled with Cars. He reaches, and stretches, and cries "Car, Car..." over and over, and looks at me with sad eyes as I try to quickly move past them and divert his attention elsewhere- it only gets worse when I'm paying and he's trying to take all the pamphlets out of their spots and throw them all over the floor.
Get a little nervous:
- In the aisles with banans, juice or Yogurt. Worried he might throw a tantrum when he can't have these favorite things of his. I'm very good at keeping his back to the bananas!
Laundry
Love:
- When he entertains himself trying to put a peice of clothing on
- That's pretty much it.
Hate
- That he wants to get up on the couch where I'm folding all the laundry. He's relentless- he'll repeat himself over and over until I find something better to distract him.
- That he throws all the clothes off of the couch, so he can have a place to get up and play
- That he constantly shuts the dryer door as I'm trying to transfer clothes from the washer to dryer.
Well- this is my day- at least today. Most days aren't much different. If you're looking for a little more excitement- so sorry. We love our little life and can't get enough of Carter -most of the time. He can also be whiney and impatient.. but then again, so can I; so I guess I can't blame him.

Hey Molly! How is your pregnancy going? How far along are you now? I love your recent post..it's fun to read about what you are doing. Next time you are in Utah we need to get together!!
THAT DANG STACK OF CARS!! Ashtyn cries for it everytime!!! Its on the end aisle and there is one in front of a register, I am contemplating shopping somewhere else just because of them! Cute post;)
so many reasons why we love our little boys..... this all sounds all too familiar. love you guys! can't wait to see you for Christmas!
I like reading about your life, even if you think it's not exciting! It's definitely foreign to me. :)
This is such a great post! I am picturing my daughter doing the same thing... you are not alone. Tell Jason I said "hi!" I just wanted to catch up on the Sant household. It's been a long time. I didn't know you guys were expecting again, either, that is awesome! Take care!
Carters boots are cute! How did you like your tree? I thought it was a pretty one:)
Tiff:)
That is the best!!! I'm so glad you posted that....I feel your pain with the cars in the grocery store. I try hard to avoid that area to! Noah's getting better.
And the laundry...Audrey thinks it's so funny to clothes the door too.
It's good to hear someone else goes through the same things you do!!!
Hi Molly! I found your blog through Robin's. You tell it just like it is - I totally relate to you about the "hates" - especially breakfast and the grocery store. You look great! - Jackie (Fuller)
Maybe you don't want to start this habit, but for probably over a year every time we went to the grocery store, I would give Halle and Gray each a banana to munch on while we shopped. Then when we payed, I'd just give the clerk 2 whole bananas to weigh and pay for twice. It's a great distraction, and they're eating fruit. What could be better?
